11 May BEYOND THE LINES – SALONE DEL MOBILE
During the Milan Design Week 2026, Cleaf presented Beyond The Lines, an invitation to discover what happens when design, like sport, finds its true strength in going beyond, redefining boundaries, perspectives, and possibilities. Sport and design are two worlds united by the pursuit of performance, attention to detail, and the desire to surpass their own limits. Cleaf surfaces interpret this tension, transforming material into visual energy, rhythm, and movement.
The stand at the Salone del Mobile.Milano designed by Studio Hugo explored the intersection of sport and design, in an unexpected and playful way.
A table tennis arena invited visitors to discover the textures and decoratives of surfaces for furniture and interior design, through graphic and architectural lines, and to play, transforming their interaction with the space and materials into an engaging experience.
The new Annara texture, inspired by teak, was introduced especially for the occasion, enhancing the wood’s dense and well-defined structure. Its name comes from a dialect word referring to the growth ring of a tree trunk — a symbol of continuity and evolution, where the passage of time becomes a refined material identity.
